Mad Mimi
Mad Mimi is a simple yet powerful email marketing service owned by Go Daddy. It is popular amongst the craft blogging crowd.
Email Sending Services
Amazon SES
Amazon SES is Amazon’s Simple Email Service. This will allow you to send emails through Amazon AWS service. This offers reliability and deliverability. Emails are super cheap and should be enough for all sites. We have prepared a guide on how to set up Amazon SES using WP Email Capture, you can read it here. There are simpler methods of sending emails though, these are detailed below.
Mailgun
Mailgun is an email service for developers. However unlike others this has a free 10,000 emails a month. For more advanced services such as logging you will have to pay, but we run all our sites off the free tier.
We have tested it with WP Email Capture and it works (we run it on our own site). This is highly recommended as it’s incredibly easy to set up as well.
WordPress Plugins
OptinMonster
OptinMonster is a great plugin that increases your signups in an almost exponential fashion. By adding a popup (and in some plans, an exit popups), OptinMonster allows you to increase subscribers through WP Email Capture without annoying regulars by only targeting specific pages or users.
WP Email Reminder
WP Email Reminder is an addon plugin to WP Email Capture. It sends reminders to any temporary signups reminding them to sign up. However, to prevent spam, you can only send a maximum of two reminders to each email address. This plugin can also handle the cleanup of email addresses and optimise your WP Email Capture databases.

34SP are a long standing, experienced managed WordPress host based in Manchester England. This is my recommended hosting for smaller sites, and WP Email Capture works with all plans out of the box with them.
WP Engine
WP Engine offer incredibly high end, fast and secure servers. A managed WordPress hosting offering, it offers free SSL Certificates from Lets Encrypt, a robust backup facility, one-click staging and many more services. For a high end application, I strongly recommend WP Engine.
Hostgator.com
Hostgator.com offers affordable, yet reliable hosting for all. I’ve been hosted with them for years and find them efficient and understanding. Their staff are knowledgable, and I am extremely happy with them.
As such, I’ve installed WP Email Capture on hundreds of Hostgator domains, and it works without any issues. Heck, the entire development of WP Email Capture was done on Hostgator Servers.
