Today I’m delighted to announce the launch of WP Email Capture – Returning User Redirect!

One of the most requested questions is how to deal with returning users. Previously, to prevent multiple signups, we check to make sure the user is already signed up to the mailing list, if not, we’ve previously shown an error.

However, a small number of people were using WP Email Capture as a solution whereby it acted as a rudimentary login. This solution is for them – as now instead of showing the error, it now redirects the user to your landing page.

This is done by using a very simple checkbox on the settings page (Lists page for WP Email Capture Premium users).

If it’s ticked, if a previously confirmed user visits your page again, they will instead be redirected to the final page, rather than have to sign up again.

Of course, this does mean you have to make sure that the user is present on your system, so if you’re using WordPress or WP Email Capture’s GDPR features, you may want to edit your privacy policy to use this.

A year’s licence (which includes support & updates for a year) is $20. You can buy at the button below.

If you have any questions, please contact me and I’ll be sure to get back to you.
