WP Email Capture 3.8 Released – Classic Editor Changes

Today I’m delighted to announce the release of WP Email Capture 3.8, for both premium & free users.

This version makes a few changes to the classic editor, introducing a new feature into the free version. Plus also tidies up the Premium Version a bit.

A New Button in Free

To make the free version a bit easier to use, I’ve added a button that appears on the classic editor. Clicking it will place the shortcode wherever you wish. This will mean between this and the dedicated block for Gutenberg’s editor, you’ll never have to remember or type a shortcode for the free version.

A New Design in Premium

The feature mentioned above was from the premium version. I’ve never been 100% happy with the design & the look of the free version, as it looked out of place. Furthermore, the code behind the scenes was a mess. The editor code has come on leaps and bounds since then and as a result I spent some time during this lockdown period designing and improving it. It’s not a lot neater, cleaner and more efficient.
