Today I’m delighted to announce the release of WP Email Capture – Akismet Integration version 1.1!
This version adds on a new feature to the plugin, as well as made one small change to how the spam is checked.
Check All Emails for Spam
In the WP Email Capture > Aksimet section, you can now check previous temporary emails for spam. Simply click the “Check Unconfirmed e-mail Addresses for Spam”. To avoid API limits it checks it at 100 email address intervals, so for big lists you may need to click this a few times.
Tighter Spam Restriction
From testing it on our site, we’ve tightened up the spam filter. We were thinking it was a little too loose, so we’ve tightened it up.
